ART FAIRS: Changes In Management Of The Liste Art Fair Basel

Joanna Kamm has run the Liste Art Fair Basel with great success over the last five years. During her time the fair was relocated due to the pandemic. She was able to create an incomparable atmosphere at the new venue by means of extraordinary fair architecture and special art interventions. Moreover, by introducing two new digital formats and strong contacts, she reacted flexibly and swiftly to current challenges while continuing to develop Liste’s programme. Thanks to her network within the international art and fair world, she succeeded in winning important new galleries for Liste and was also able to expand the geographical range of exhibitors. The fairs she organised received great recognition both domestically and internationally.

The management of the fair is currently being restructured, with the introduction of a co-direction. Reto Nussbaum took over as commercial director (fair management) in October 2023. Peter Bläuer, co-founder and former director of Liste will assume the position of interim artistic director for this year’s edition of the fair. Joanna Kamm will be leaving Liste following a longer period of illness to pursue other goals. We want to thank her warmly for her much-appreciated commitment to and work for Liste and wish her all the best for the future.
