TRIBUTE: WOMEN IN ART

All began in New York City on March 8, 1857, when female textile workers marched in protest of unfair working conditions and unequal rights for women. Today on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, we select and present to you seven artists women who each through their work and attitude in the international art scene left or leave her imprint: Louise Bourgeois, Lee Krasner, Hannah Wilke, Lee Miller, Yoko Ono, Shirin Neshat and Janine Antoni.-Efi Michalarou
