SNAPSHOTS: The Experience of Carefree Sand

After the closing of the exhibition “The Experience of Carefree Sand”, we present you a series of snapshots from the installation to convey to you as much of the atmosphere as possible. “The Experience of Carefree Sand” is a research-oriented action that focuses on highlighting a dialectical dialogue between the place and contemporary art forms and expressions of theoretical discourse. dreamideamachine resident Athens is a space that hosts contemporary artists to work and exhibit their artwork. In the section “nature, nature, nature” which is a work in progress and evolves from Athens to Chania and Mytilene, it focuses on issues directly related to urban nature, water, the sea, and coastlines. Centered around humans and the quality of life they deserve, with respect and love for nature and the happiness derived from harmonizing with it, the six participating contemporary artists create works using different expressive mediums: drawing, painting, photography, mixed media-sculpture, and installations.
