OPEN CALL: Seeking Professor at Hong Kong Baptist University
The School of Creative Arts, comprised of three well-established units, namely the Academy of Film, Academy of Music, and Academy of Visual Arts, is well poised to disrupt the creative practice and art education in film, music and visual arts. A new framework of education and research is needed for artists to “think” futurity. Rooted in liberal arts ethos and transdisciplinary inquiries, the new school aims to interrogate the infinite acts of human creativity, reassess the roles of arts in our time, and invent new artistic opportunities for the future.

The Academy of Visual Arts (AVA) is committed to providing the best visual arts education, combining studio-based research, critical and historical studies, and sustainable service for the cultural and creative sectors as well as for the community at large. The Academy currently has 26 full-time faculty members and has developed rapidly, building an international teaching team and developing multi-faceted programmes based on an interdisciplinary curriculum.
