Old and New fabrics are used by Spyridoula Politi throughout her work, which she cuts, changes, joins, shapes, composes and reformulates them. However, one of her most charming and fairytale works is the court shoe of every Cinderella, the woman who trapped in her own principles, worked and continues to work for the good and the honest through the centuries, and to which all the dreamy and well-made court shoes pertfecty fit, made of ephemeral and timeless materials, knitted from soft pliable and flexible yarns like the ones in the artist’s work, placed on the pedestal as a reward for her course.
