00In the group exhibition “Waving The Future II” at Larissa Municipal Gallery-G.I. Katsigra Museum, Ada Anastasea’s classic Sarakatsani motif that in its lines and design contains the semiology and the condensation of tradition, habits and customs, was selected by Ada Anastasea to embroider on canvas using fluo orange thread, connecting tradition with contemporary era. Without other visible interventions, the artist, through this small and subtle detail elevates embroidery from manual labor to contemporary art.
