ART FAIRS:Platforms Project NET teaser 2021
The International Exhibition Platforms Project for the ninth consecutive year has as its object the joint search for solutions to contemporary artistic questions and the indicative mapping of the artistic action, as it is produced today in the framework of group initiatives of young artists in the international art environment.
Platforms Project ΝΕΤ 2021 is managed by Artemis Potamianou and Michalis Argyrou. Artemis Potamianou is the curator of Platforms Project 2021.
Platforms Project Net, was held for the first time in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and led the Platforms Project to create a way of viewing art. Platforms Project NET in 2020 was the second international fair that took place online and the only Art Fair for platforms, with views from more than 80 countries and the pages of the project were viewed over 264,000 times during period of the digital exhibition. For 2021 Platforms Project Net will host more platforms and artists that any other time.
We continue to stay home, but we insist to create, uniting the voices of the independent art scene, highlighting the power of art and technology.
Platforms Project Net, will take place the period May 27, to June 10, 2021, giving the art lovers the opportunity to reconnect with artworks and the artists of the ninety participating platforms (67 platforms participating in the main program and 24 guests from them), through a digital exhibition.
From April 5, to April 11, 2021 the viewers will have the opportunity to take a sneak peek of the online Art Fair, in the seven-day introductory action “Platforms Project Net Teaser” with small projects created by 52 platforms.
At “Platforms Project Net Teaser” will participate 52 from the 67 platforms-groups of artists participating in the main program:
