ART FAIRS:Asia Now -Paris Asian Art Fair
ASIA NOW, a curatorial platform promoting the Asian contemporary scene and artistic conversation between East and West, will launch its first art Fair at the Espace Pierre Cardin in Paris. Asia Now-Paris Asian Art Fair (founded by Claude and Alexandra Fain) is the first art fair in Paris dedicated to the Asian scene.

The Art Fair presents artists from China, Japan, South Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan and India, represented by Asian galleries and mostly by international galleries. Its ambition is to allow collectors, art people and art lovers to discover and appreciate the finest curation of contemporary Asian artworks within a prestigious and unique venue in Paris. Each selected Gallery presents a curatorial proposition (less than 20 projects) in an environment that allows in-depth relations with the key players of the Asian contemporary art world. The ultimate goal is to present the best of Asian contemporary creation while maintaining a keen interest on its evolution and future development. Opening up, breaking down the barriers, exploring, and sharing: is an art fair enabling its audience to freshly reconsider Contemporary Asian Art. The Art Fair wishes to re-ignite thoughtful exploration of the gaps, gray or unknown areas of the multifaceted reality at stake in this contemporary creation in motion. The residual images that we all have on Asian contemporary art of which we basically often know more the market value than its actual scene, abundant, may have to be reviewed. Indeed, there may not be specifically Asian art as such, for art today is of course plural, open, nonclassifiable. It is precisely this incredibly vibrant yet almost imperceptible creative flux of which we hope to provide a faithful showcase.
