The first Paris Internationale features 41exhibitors: 34 galleries and 7 non-profit spaces from 14 countries. Paris Internationale also hosts a live program and talk series. Considering Paris Internationale not only as a commercial event but also as an alternative artistic project, there is a Live Program of performances. The event explores the fair as a vector for memories and fantasies. What is created is a fiction and time-crystal where a fantasied Paris from the ‘70s, haunts the present of an international avant-garde. The three TALK SERIES with the following themes “The question of artistic agency and how to live/survive today”, “The collection, the archive and the institutions vs. the network in a time of digital reproduction” and “Contemporary thinking, Thinking the contemporary; historical awareness and fiction”, are presented by Spike art magazine and the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard.
