OPEN CALL:Applications For 62nd Premio Termoli–Architecture and Design Section at MACTE, Termol

The 62nd Premio Termoli–Architecture and Design Section is open to all Italian and foreign architects, designers and artists, including associations.

The purpose of the contest is to design an urban bus stop shelter for the city of Termoli.

The bus stop, of the suggested dimensions of 250 (H) x 350 (W) x 200 (D) cm, must be outdoor resistant, provide seating and adapt to the standard use of shelter from the weather in a Mediterranean urban context.
The jury will favor projects that demonstrate to be innovative, technologically advanced and eco-sustainable, attentive to the reuse of materials.

Applications are accepted in English and in Italian and consist of:
-a technical report (5 pages max)
-4 x A3 tables with: the concept of the work, two-dimensional and three-dimensional graphic layouts, sketches, descriptions, technical documentation with plans, elevations and sections, photos of the bus shelter in place in the Termoli urban context and all other documentation which may be deemed helpful by the candidate to describe their proposal

Only online submissions will be accepted no later than December 16, 2020 at noon (CET)

A jury of experts will select the finalists whose projects will be exhibited in the show of the 62nd Premio Termoli, held at MACTE Museum in 2021.

The winner of the 62nd Premio Termoli–Architecture and Design Section will be awarded a cash prize and the winning project will be entrusted to the Municipality of Termoli for the purpose of inclusion in its urban redevelopment plans.
