PHOTO:Ioanna Kostika-Stillness
These photographs are part of an ongoing project about observing stillness. An attempt to capture the moment human presence begins to set a story in motion. As each frame pauses time, it becomes a trigger that unfolds alternate scenarios for what may have come before or may happen after.
While we stand still or observe a moment of stillness, we define our presence, while past and future become the means of transcendence and escape.
