REVIEW:Tadao Ando-The Challenge

Fabrica Workshop of Benetton, Treviso, ItalyTadao Ando’s Retrospective at Centre George Pompidou, that is closing at the end of the year, is truly a challenge. It is a challenge of media and ideas, but especially is a challenge of works, since the way that the architecture and some of the most known works of Tadao Ando is unique. Scale models drawn on paper, 3D models in the space, screens, video, tablets but also drawings and notes of the Architect, with a blue marker and his signature, on the wall of the Museum complement each other and are illustrative for the visitor. It is not just an impressive exhibition, the most striking is that the curators have managed to create a tangible bridge between visitors, landscape and architecture,in such a degree that if you do alone the tour of the exhibition, 2 or 3 times and  tune up with the music and the images, you are coordinate with the energy of Ando’s Universe and become part of the whole!!!
