OPEN CALL Tenure-track faculty positions in Sculpture and PhotographyThe School of Art at Carnegie Mellon University announces two full-time tenure-track positions for Assistant or Associate Professors in the area of Sculpture and a full-time tenure-track position for Assistant or Associate Professor in the area of Photography. For each position, the School is seeking an established artist whose work explores contemporary issues and whose career has maintained a record of national and international exhibition. Special attention will be given to candidates who bring both critical and technical knowledge into their work and teaching.

Each new hire will teach two classes per semester, conduct graduate critiques, and maintain a vibrant studio practice. Additionally, they will be actively engaged as part of a dynamic faculty, taking part in the governance of the School through committee work, and helping to steer pedagogical development. A private studio will be provided, with access to the School’s myriad physical, digital, and technology-based facilities.

Qualifications
A versatile, strongly committed artist with a significant national and international exhibition record. Advanced degree or equivalent required, as well as experience teaching at the college or university level.
