OPEN CALL: Photojournalism Workshop In Mani, South Peloponnese
The awarded with UNESCO Honor, Greek photojournalist Maro Kouri invites you to a magic journey from Cape Tainaro to the stark mountains of Mani and the Diros Caves.
Follow the stone alleys, discover the genuine cafes and photograph the heart of social life of the villages. Fill your images with the mystery atmosphere of the wild landscapes of Mani. Challenge yourselves to photograph with your own gaze the stone towers, untouched by time. Walk the endless beaches and explore the nightlife of poetic Areopoli and Gythio’s fishing port.
Wander around the proud isolated villages and document the roughness and sweetness of life. From the lonely chapels and the abandoned monasteries, to the vales with watermills and the lighthouses protecting sea travelers, set out on a quest for stories on people’s faith and struggle.
