MIRAGES XXXI

 

December is the month of retrospection and introspection of thoughts, of memories and above all of the discussions… for that reason December is full of Interviews and Traces, images, sensations and feelings through Architecture, Photography and the City.

Interviews:  After the really very successful with high readability interview by the American Artist Andres Serrano that exhibits in parallel at Galerie Nathalie Obadia and La Maison Européenne de la Photographie (both spaces in Paris), are following interviews by: the German Artist Nasan Tur that presents “FUNKTIONIEREN”, a  notable exhibition at Blain|Southern in Berlin, the Lebanese/French Architect Hala Wardé, that was selected to design BeMA (Beirut Museum of Art), the well-known French Art Theorist Nicolas Bourriaud, Director of the future Contemporary Art Center of Montpellier, due to open in 2019, and La Panacée Art Center and the Italian Artist Piero Golia on the occasion of his participation in the exhibition “Conversation Piece|Part 3” at Fondazione Memmo in Rome.

Traces: The artists who have left their mark in art, living or dead and were born in December like: Jean-Michel Basquiat, Louise Bourgeois, Günther Förg, Bruce Nauman and Chen Zhen.

Architecture: This month has birthday the winning of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, Oscar Niemeyer.

Photography: Images of Paris, a city vibrating by sensations and emotions, art and stimuli, an evolving Portfolio during the month through the photo series: “The Face of the City”.
